Despite its flat, highly compact shape, the Quaranta features a single-volume shape characterized by a continuous body line stretching from its clipped nose to the tail that exploits the almost horizontal rake of the windscreen.

Giugiaro Quaranta Concept

Car & Driver News
Consisting of a mid-mounted 3.3-liter V-6 and two electric motors, the Quaranta’s hybrid system is good for 268 combined horsepower—essentially the same as in the Toyota Highlander and Lexus RX400h hybrids.
The Quaranta’s styling wasn’t done just for good looks’ sake but also for absolute aerodynamic efficiency to maximize the fuel-economy advantage of the hybrid powertrain.
