It was reworked by Virgil Exner to accommodate the length of the Desoto chassis and in doing so he created a much more dramatic design.
The first owner, King Mohammed V of Morocco used the Desoto sparingly and in 2005 the Adventurer II only had 15,000 miles on the odometer.
