In mandatory emission testing conducted by the German Vehicle Inspection Agency's Institute for Motor Vehicle Technology in Essen the tuned 400 hp / 294 kW eight-cylinder engine achieved the highest ratings in all categories, meeting the Euro IV standards that do not even go into effect until 2005.
A stainless steel high-performance exhaust system with complex metal catalysts and reprogrammed engine electronics complete the engine conversion.
